Meet Uncorked Canvas
Premiere Paint Studio in Tacoma
Uncorked Canvas® was founded in April of 2011. Ours was the first Peninsula-based paint and wine studio south of Seattle.
Making Art Possible
We believe that art should be accessible and possible. Our focus is to provide encouraging and artistic ways for people of all levels of experience (and no experience) to complete a piece of art they can be proud of. Creativity should be open to everyone!
Hours of Operation
The paint studios are open during class times (see our Tacoma calendar for more info) or by appointment only. Studio and office are closed Mondays.
We are not always in the office, so please forgive any delay in response – we promise we will get back to you as soon as possible! ❤️
Diana is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA in Design, focusing on illustration.
Since she was 7 years old she wanted to illustrate children’s books and is currently working in that industry, taking a break from her career in nonprofit marketing.
She works predominantly in watercolor and pen and ink and specializes in picture books featuring whimsical animals.
Diana loves sharing the contagious joy of creating and encouraging others to express themselves through art. She finds inspiration in the wonder of nature and joy in the unfolding serendipity of each new day.

Danessa was born and raised in Colorado but quickly fell in love with the PNW after visiting Washington many years ago.
Although her career focus was in the veterinary world for many years, she also found a way to express herself through a multitude of arts and crafts including painting, writing, jewelry making, furniture restoration, and more.
When she isn’t exploring her new home state of Washington or spoiling her cats, you can find her seeking out her next creative adventure in art.
