Below is a copy of the conditions of ticket purchasing, as well as helpful hints and tips. We recommend knowing this info before purchasing a ticket to an event.

Here is some important info about your event and our studio, so please take some time to read below:
- For Tacoma events: Our main entrance is on A Street (1121 A Street, Tacoma WA 98402). We now have a first-floor, full handicap access. Woohoo! We often have events at other locations in the Tacoma area, so please confirm the address on your ticket receipt e-mail.
- For West Seattle events: Our studio is in Westwood Village Shopping Center. You will not be able to see the studio from the parking lot. The best parking is near Bed, Bath and Beyond or Big 5 Sporting Goods/Starbucks. Walk through the landscaped breezeway and you will find us right there across from 24 Hour Fitness
IMPORTANT NOTE: All events are subject to a minimum number of registrants. If that number is not reached, the event may be rescheduled. We try to send 2 day’s advance warning if there’s a chance that this might occur. The notice of postponement will be sent 24 hours in advance via email (you can expect a phone call if something more last-minute happens). Your tickets will not be lost in this case, and can be forwarded to any (not full) event for no re-booking fee! Even in the case that we postpone the event, the refund policies still apply (see below).
Alcoholic Beverages:
No outside alcoholic beverages are legally allowed at our public events.
- Tacoma: Our studio is a 21+ wine bar and events space. There will be a separate wine bar area for you to join us for drinks before and during your event!
PLEASE NOTE: No one under the age of 21 is legally allowed to attend events at our Tacoma studio location at this time. If you need to reschedule your tickets because of this, please see below policies for options. This is only for events at 1121 A Street.
- Seattle: We are family-friendly! Sorry, you aren’t able to legally bring alcoholic drinks to a public event. Beverages are provided, however 😊
There are a ton of fantastic restaurants within 1 mile of our Tacoma studio: here are just some of the restaurants nearby: Yelp (and most deliver via GrubHub/Uber!) Here is a directory of dining options near our West Seattle studio. You can also bring food and non-alcoholic drinks to any event. Feel free to have food delivered at any time.
Late-Arrival Policy:
Please respect the other attendees and our staff by not disrupting the class by arriving late. You’re welcome to arrive early (doors open 30 minutes before the event). If you arrive late, we can not guarantee to have staff available to help you catch up. Please plan ahead! Late arrivals who are not able to participate forfeit their tickets. If you are unfamiliar with the area of Tacoma or West Seattle, be sure to print out detailed instructions (our map page).
Cancellation/No-Shows*:
There is nothing more important to us than having a crowd of happily Uncorked painters and creators, so please seriously consider if you are able to make the event before purchasing your tickets.
All tickets are purchased on a strictly non-refundable basis. Can’t make your event and don’t know what you want to do with your tickets? Click here for your options.
Need to reschedule? With 24-hour’s notice, we can move your tickets (to a not-full event). If you haven’t decided which event you’re to be moved to, please note that your tickets will expire 3 months from the date of cancellation. A $5 per ticket fee will be charged to transfer a ticket in our system. You may be rescheduled a maximum of 2 times, with a separate admin fee charge of $5 per ticket each time. Please be sure you are able to attend before purchasing.
No-shows (who do not call/email proceeding the event) forfeit their tickets. Late arrivals who are not able to participate forfeit their tickets. The best way to contact us in the case of cancellation is through email (see contact info below). Events are not cancelled due to weather unless main streets are closed. You can expect a call near the event time with information concerning Mother Nature.

*POLICIES MAY NOT APPLY TO PRIVATE/SPECIAL EVENTS AND PROMOTIONS. Please see the fine print and details for your specific event/purchase.
Conduct and Liability:
Please be respectful of our staff and studio space so we can continue to share creativity and fun with everyone!
- An attendee deemed a disturbance or liability will be asked to leave, without refund or credit to reschedule.
- If damages are caused or sustained by a guest, the guest (or adult responsible if a minor child) is liable for costs associated with those damages. You can expect to be contacted in this case before any charges occur.
- Instructors and staff of Uncorked Canvas are not responsible for supervising the conduct of your children or guests.
- If you arrive to any event obviously intoxicated or otherwise disruptive, you will be asked to leave immediately. We reserve the right to refuse service.
